Pensacola Dermatology has one office, at 4850 Grande Dr in Pensacola, and patients come to it from across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, the Perdido Bay area and Baldwin County, Alabama. This page lists the communities we serve most often, with a short note on each and a link to that community’s page. Wherever you live, you see the same team: Dr. Amy Watson, MD, and our certified physician assistants.
Dermatology Care for the Greater Pensacola Area
Dr. Amy Pote Watson is a medical and surgical dermatologist who treats adults and children. A Pensacola native, she moved home to found Pensacola Dermatology in 2004. She is joined by Jennifer Matechik, PA-C, and Rachel LeMaitre, PA-C, both natives of Navarre, and Jonathan Adair, PA-C, who grew up in Fort Walton Beach. Most of our team is from the Gulf Coast, and so are most of our patients.
Whichever community you come from, the services are the same:
- Medical dermatology for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, warts and skin allergies
- Skin cancer screening and surgery, including full-body skin exams, biopsies and surgical excision
- Cosmetic dermatology, including Botox and chemical peels
- Children’s dermatology for kids and teens
Pensacola Neighborhoods and Escambia County
Many of our patients live within a few miles of the office, in the neighborhoods and communities that surround Pensacola.
Bellview
Bellview sits on the west side of Pensacola. Families there visit us for everything from a child’s eczema to an annual skin check for parents who spend weekends outdoors.
Brent
Brent is a central Pensacola community a short drive from our office, which makes it easy to fit a skin check or follow-up visit into a workday.
Ferry Pass
Ferry Pass, north of central Pensacola, is home to many students and young families. Acne, rashes and first-time mole checks are among the most common reasons Ferry Pass patients see us.
Warrington
Warrington lies southwest of Pensacola near the Naval Air Station. Sun exposure on the water and at the base makes regular skin cancer screening especially worthwhile here.
Cantonment
Cantonment is in north Escambia County along US-29. Farm, yard and outdoor work mean years of cumulative sun, and we see many Cantonment patients for precancerous spots and skin cancer care.
Perdido Key
Perdido Key is the barrier island west of Pensacola Beach. Beach living is wonderful for the soul and hard on the skin, so sunburn damage, sunspots and suspicious moles are frequent concerns.
Santa Rosa County
East of Pensacola Bay, patients from Santa Rosa County make up a large share of our practice.
Gulf Breeze
Gulf Breeze patients cross the Pensacola Bay Bridge to reach us. Many come for full-body skin exams and cosmetic treatments.
Milton
Milton, the Santa Rosa County seat, is an easy drive west on I-10. Patients from Milton often see us for chronic conditions like psoriasis and eczema that need regular follow-up.
Pace
Pace sits between Pensacola and Milton, and its growing family population brings us many pediatric and teen acne visits.
Navarre
Navarre, east along US-98 and home to Navarre Beach, is also home to two of our physician assistants. Navarre patients come to us for skin cancer screenings, mole checks and medical dermatology.
The Perdido Bay Area and Baldwin County, Alabama
Across Perdido Bay and the Alabama line, communities in Baldwin County are part of our patient family too.
Lillian, AL
Lillian sits on the Alabama side of Perdido Bay, close to the Florida line. It is one of the nearest Alabama communities to our office, and Lillian patients see us for the full range of medical, surgical and cosmetic care.
Josephine, AL
Josephine is a quiet waterfront community on the Perdido Bay side of Baldwin County. Boating and fishing bring plenty of sun, so skin checks are a common reason for a visit.
Orange Beach, AL
Orange Beach patients live and often work in one of the sunniest spots on the Gulf. We help with sun damage, precancers and skin cancer, as well as cosmetic concerns.
Seminole, AL
Seminole is in Baldwin County along US-90, just west of the Perdido River. Seminole patients visit us for routine skin exams, rashes and chronic skin conditions.
